Learning through

• Thought Leaders
• Experience
• Artificial Intelligence

I draw from a wide range of disciplines including leadership, management, organisational behaviour, psychology, neuroscience, mental health, spiritual traditions and alcohol recovery. I use AI as a thinking partner—to challenge, sharpen, and expand my perspective. It helps me explore, test, and iterate ideas in ways that accelerate learning.

What fascinates me most is how insights from one field can transform another. How the 12 Steps of AA can guide personal growth beyond addiction. How the polyvagal theory and neuroplasticity can deepen our understanding of emotional regulation and healing in recovery. How leadership principles can support mental health, and how recovery frameworks can strengthen leadership and team culture.

I also value serendipitous learning—the kind that emerges from unexpected places. I believe every idea holds potential, and that shared learning can uplift individuals, families, communities, and society as a whole.

Here’s where I share what I’ve been learning - Insights & Perspectives.

Thought Leaders

I read and listen to thought leaders—whether through timeless classics, new releases, social media, interviews, or seminars. Many also share their knowledge through structured learning: courses, K–12 education, and tertiary institutions.

Experience

I’ve been fortunate to learn from my roles as CEO, COO, CFO, General Manager, Consultant, Venture Capitalist, Director, Owner, and Co-Owner. My business journey spans industries and markets across Australia, the U.S., and Southeast Asia. Personally, I draw strength and insight from my recovery journey and my faith.

Artificial Intelligence

AI has unlocked access to nearly all of humanity’s written and spoken knowledge. Its ability to summarize key points, weigh pros and cons, and contextualize topics across historical, political, and psychological dimensions is, to me, simply staggering.
