Here’s where I share what I’ve been learning—ideas that capture my attention, whether they’re timely, thought-provoking, or quietly powerful. This is where I give shape to what I’ve absorbed, offering reflections that aim to inform, challenge, or inspire.

My learning spans a range of disciplines—leadership, management, organisational behaviour, psychology, neuroscience, mental health, spritual traditions and alcohol recovery. What excites me most is how ideas from one field can unlock insights in another. How recovery frameworks can inform leadership. How neuroscience can deepen our understanding of emotional resilience. How behavioural science can shape better systems for change.

Beyond writing, I share learnings through service—on boards and advisory panels (both paid and volunteer), supporting not-for-profits, charities, government bodies, and community groups.

I also mentor individuals and small teams, and continue to consult in business and management, where I share knowledge and frameworks that help people and organisations thrive.

Web & Media

I write about ideas that capture my attention—whether they’re in the news, part of political discourse, or surfaced through books, podcasts, vlogs, or thought leaders. Often, the topic itself may not be directly about leadership, neuroscience, or recovery—but a single insight or phrase might spark a connection across disciplines.

My focus is on exploring how ideas from one field can inform another. How a comment in a podcast about autism might illuminate something about emotional regulation in recovery. How a leadership principle might echo a step in AA. I’m drawn to these intersections—where unexpected connections lead to deeper understanding.

My goal is to contribute positively to the betterment of individuals, families, communities, and society. I don’t seek controversy, but when topics are contentious, I aim to present both sides with respect and balance.

Boards, Committees, Advisory & Reference Panels

I serve on boards—both paid and volunteer—and contribute to community groups, not-for-profits, charities, and government enterprises. I also mentor individuals and small groups where my experience can be of value.

Business

I remain active as a business and management consultant, with a mission to help clients create both financial and legacy wealth—for themselves, their people, and their communities. Consulting is a powerful way to share knowledge and through my firm, Evahan, I share knowledge and frameworks that empower people and organizations to thrive.
