Lovatt Family Trust

Lovatt Family Trust is a residential property investment vehicle with holdings in the Launceston region of northern Tasmania. The trust is jointly held by Jason Bresnehan and his sister Cara, reflecting a shared commitment to long‑term family stewardship.

Founded: 1998

The trust is named in honour of Jason’s great‑grandfather, Bill Lovatt — an eclectic Westbury entrepreneur who served the town as a butcher, SP bookie, and early promoter of American “moving pictures” during the era when travelling film reels were screened in local halls across Tasmania.
