Investment Approach

We invest where we can create real value — operationally, strategically, and culturally. Our approach is disciplined, long‑view, and grounded in the belief that businesses grow strongest when capability, alignment, and community all move in the same direction.

1. Operational Value Creation

We invest in businesses where our hands‑on operating capability can materially improve performance.
This includes:
•     strengthening systems, processes, and commercial discipline
•     improving efficiency through technology and AI
•     building QMS and safety capability (ISO 9001, FSC, ISO 45001)
•     developing people, culture, and leadership
•     expanding product or service lines where the economics make sense
If we can’t add operational value, we don’t do the deal.

2. Strategic & M&A Value (1 + 1 = 3)

We look for opportunities where the combination of businesses creates more value than either could alone.
This may include:
•     shared overheads and centralised functions
•     bolt‑on acquisitions that strengthen a core business
•     product development or R&D that unlocks new markets
•     technology uplift across a portfolio
•     government grants, incentives, and strategic partnerships

We move when the strategic logic is clear and the upside is real.

3. Community, People & Legacy Value

We believe businesses are strongest when they contribute to the communities they serve.
We look for opportunities where we can:
•     support staff, families, and local communities
•     strengthen the values and reputation of the business
•     build long‑term trust with customers, suppliers, and partners
•     honour the legacy of founders and owners

Commercial value matters — but cultural value sustains it.

How We Move

We partner selectively, think independently, and commit fully when the alignment is right.

We prefer depth over scale, clarity over noise, and long‑term stewardship over short‑term activity.

About Jason Bresnehan

Jason Bresnehan is a fixer—of businesses, of broken momentum, and occasionally of entire spiritual frameworks gone sideways. He speaks fluent boardroom and AA, deploys Catholic doctrine with the subtlety of a scalpel, and isn’t afraid to lace his insights with both war-room metaphors and dad-sermon tenderness.

Founder of Evahan, a consultancy built on the idea that legacy and liquidity don’t need to fight, Jason draws on 30 years of commercial grit, tactical leadership, and emotional radar to help people rebuild what entropy took. He works with companies, communities, and recovery misfits alike—often using the same principles to sort both cap tables and chaotic lives.

I can be engaged (on a remunerated or volunteer basis) to sit on Boards, Committees, Advisory and Reference Group Panels, and to speak to Business, Community, and Youth groups. I’m also open to providing comment to media on topics where I have relevant experience or insight. Please feel free to make contact.
