Noble House Tasmania
Noble House Tasmania was a boutique corporate advisory and investment banking firm based in Launceston, operating in alliance with Noble House Investment Banking in Melbourne.
The firm assisted Chinese investors with M&A opportunities in Tasmania, arranged structured finance facilities for property developers, and provided advisory support to early‑stage technology commercialisation companies.
The Bresnehan Family Office was a co‑founding 50% shareholder and held a Directorship. The remaining 50% was held by the late Peter Purtell, a former Sydney‑based foreign exchange trader with Bankers Trust; Treasurer of Australia Bank, where he traded the first Australian dollar on the day it floated; Treasurer of HSBC Australia; and later the trading desk lead at Tasmania Bank.
