Zapple’s flagship products include:
RooSafe — Wild‑Protein Supply Chain Traceability
A geo‑enabled food‑safety application built for the Australian Kangaroo Industry Association. RooSafe tracked wild‑harvested protein from the point of shoot on registered pastoral properties, through chiller collection points and processing facilities, to outbound shipments and retail distribution. It was the first application globally to deliver full end‑to‑end traceability for a wild‑protein supply chain.
Hydraulic Hose Assembly ERP — Delta Hydraulics Thailand
A world‑class, custom‑built ERP workflow system designed, developed, and deployed by the Zapple collaboration for Delta Hydraulics’ Thailand operations.
The system incorporated:
• full Bill of Materials (BOM) control
• live linkage to Caterpillar KANBAN demand signals
• automated one‑click job‑ticket issue for non‑English‑speaking technicians
• one‑click invoicing
• demand planning and issue analysis
• JIT delivery documentation for Point‑of‑Use (PoU) trollies
• raw material, component, and finished‑goods inventory control
• workflow visibility across two Caterpillar plants
This ERP platform delivered a highly efficient, just‑in‑time hose‑assembly and production‑tracking environment tailored to industrial manufacturing conditions, and became a critical enabler in Delta Hydraulics Thailand progressing from zero standing to Caterpillar Platinum status within 18 months — a trajectory virtually unheard of in the SQEP program, where many long‑term suppliers never reach Platinum even after decades.
Zapple also developed a suite of free iPhone applications based on the official fixture calendars for the AFL, NFL, and MLB.
Zapple remains an active corporate entity and is maintained as a specialist vehicle for future software development and systems‑architecture engagements.
